A reintroduction to homelessness
This body of work was a collaboration with a medical student at the University of New Mexico in 2018 in which I was contracted to photograph individuals experiencing homelessness. The photographs were published in a university publication alongside a narrative of the individuals' experience with homelessness. In addition, the photographs, along with excerpts from their narratives, were installed in a common space at the university. We photographed the individuals in the community and at various support facilities.
The photographs have been blurred on this website to protect the identity of the individuals.
